Remembrance Day

To commemorate Remembrance day (with the help of year 6) we set off on a trail looking at different pieces of artwork and literature about WWI. There were beautiful poems, amazing artwork and moving letters. The children watched the story of how the poppy became the symbol for remembrance and some key facts about the war. In the afternoon, we created some artwork inspired by the poppy.
